F.Y.B.Sc. (Computer Science) ONLINE ADMISSION 2021-22

(Previously known as F. Y. B. C. S.)

General Information about the course -
1. B.Sc. (Computer Science) is a non-aided course of SPPU.

2. Nowrosjee Wadia College has two divisions for F. Y. B. Sc. (Computer Science) and has 1) Computer Science 2) Mathematics 3) Electronics and 4) Statistics as compulsory subjects.

3. All Students who have passed XIIth Std. Science with Mathematics or its equivalent subject in XIIth Science are eligible to take admission for this course.

The procedure to be followed for seeking the admission for the above mentioned course is as follows –
1) Entire admission process is ONLINE.

2) The student has to fill the MERIT FORM on or before the specified last date. The form must be filled completely. Note that “you filled merit form” does not mean that you secured admission. The last date for filling MERIT FORM is 12th August 2021.

3) Different category wise merit lists will be prepared and displayed on the College website.

4) The students who are in the merit list have to fill a separate ADMISSION FORM and carry out the admission process as per instructions specified on the website on or before last date.

5) A student who has passed XIIth Examination from any board in India and has Mathematics as a subject in XIIth can apply for the admission.

6) Once you fill Merit form, you have to join a telegram group. All communication will be done on this group from time to time. Please note that you join this telegram group does not mean that you got admission. This group is just for communication purposes. 7) The applicant has to upload following documents at the time of filling MERIT FORM and ADMISSION FORM –
a) Marksheet of XIIth and Marksheet of Xth examination. (If a student has failed in subject(s) previously then all marksheets of XIIth should be uploaded)
b) Valid Caste Certificate if applicable
c) Non-Creamy layer certificate if applicable
d) Gap Certificate if applicable
e) Leaving Certificate
f) If you are seeking admission through “Ex Serviceman, Defense, Sports etc. Quota” or EWS etc. then relevant valid certificate is required

The detailed procedure to be followed for admission -


1. The student should fill up the merit form. The link for filling merit form is nowrosjee.vriddhionline.com. After opening this link, the student should register on VRIDDHI. If Students have already registered then they can use their existing login ID and Password. After registration, the students should login and then they should fill Merit Form under UG NOGRANT Section.


2. Merit form filling will be open from 6th August 2021 to 12thAugust 2021 up to 5.00 pm. Students are expected to fill in the form completely, correctly and scan and upload all necessary documents before submitting the same. Please note that filling up of the Merit Form is not a guarantee to admission.


3. The admission process of the students who have passed XIIth from Nowrosjee Wadia College will be completed first. The seats will be filled by Merit and Reservation as per the rules of SPPU and Govt. of Maharashtra. Accordingly, First Merit List of such students will be declared on College website and the telegram group (as mentioned above) on 17th August 2021. Students whose names appear in this list are expected to fill the Admission form completely, correctly and scan and upload all necessary
documents before submitting the same. After filling up of the admission form, college admission committee will verify your admission form and approve online. After approving the admission form student will get notification on their registered mobile number and email id. Such students are expected to pay the fees online from their login and complete admission formalities on or before 20th August 2021 up to 5.00 pm, failing which they will forfeit their claim to admission.

4. If there are vacant seats left after the students in (3) above are admitted then Second Merit List of such students will be declared on 24st August 2021. Students whose names appear in this list are expected to fill the Admission form completely, correctly and scan and upload all necessary documents before submitting the same. After filling up the admission form, college admission committee will verify your admission form and approve online. After approving the admission form student will get notification on their registered mobile number and email id. Such students are expected to pay the fees online from their login and complete admission formalities on or before 27th August 2020 up to 5.00 pm, failing which they will forfeit their claim to admission.


5. If there are vacant seats left after the students in (4) above are admitted then Third Merit List of such students will be declared on 31th August 2020. Students whose names appear in this list are expected to fill the Admission form completely, correctly and scan and upload all necessary documents before submitting the same. After filling up of the admission form college admission committee will verify your admission form and approve online. After approving the admission form student will get notification on their registered mobile number and email id. Such students are expected to pay the fees online from their login and complete admission formalities on or before 2nd September 2021 up to 5.00 pm, failing which they will forfeit their claim to admission.

6. The dates for second and third merit list specified in 4 & 5 above may change little as per the need. Such changes will be notified on the Telegram group.

7. In the event that some seats are vacant, next merit list will be put up for students from other than Nowrosjee Wadia College and the details regarding the same will be displayed at that time on the website and telegram group.


8. Form filled up in the wrong category or not filled up completely or correctly or not having the appropriate documents specified above will be rejected.


9. When regular college will start, student has to submit their Admission form along with Original LC/TC, Photocopies of X & XII Marksheet, Caste Certificate, Income Certificate,
Adhar Card, Online payment receipt & other necessary documents. If a student fails to produce such documents his/her admission will be treated as a cancelled. Student will be solely responsible for cancellation of his/her admission.

F.Y.B.Sc. (GRANT) ONLINE ADMISSION 2021-22

1. Kindly note that the entire admission procedure is online this year.

2. Nowrosjee Wadia College has four divisions for F.Y.B.Sc. and offers the
following subject combinations

3. Admission will be done on First Cum First Basis. Admission Forms will be
open from 7th August 2021 to 14th August 2021 up to 5.00 pm.

4. Student should visit the following link to fill admission form

Procedure for filling admission form is as follows:

1) After opening the above link student should register. If students have already
registered on vriddhionline then they can use their existing login ID and Password.

2) After registration, Students should fill the Online Admission form under
UG GRANT SECTION Only.

3) Student Name & Mother's name as per XII Marksheet is Compulsory.

4) Purchase Broucher Code from Admission link at the time of filling the Admission
form from nowrosjee.vriddhionline.com for Rs. 40/- from their login. Fill the
Admission form completely & accurately. Scan and upload X & XII Marksheet,
Original LC (if available), Caste Certificate (for Category students compulsory),
Adhar Card & other required documents.

5) Students Online Admission form will be verified in three stages
a) Document Verification
b) Subject Approval
c) Fee approval

6) After receiving the Fee Approval message/email Students have to pay fees Online
from their Admission login link in a given time period.

7) After paying the fees Students need to take the back to back printout (hard
copy) of admission form on A4 size green colored ledger paper and eligibility
form & Undertaking (it is a part of admission form).
Submit the Admission form along with the required documents at Counter
No. 4 in college office or send by speed post/Register post on college address.

Following documents are required at the time of submission of hard copy of
admission form:

i. X & XII Mark sheets Xerox
ii. Original Leaving / Transfer certificate & one Xerox copy
iii. Caste certificate (if applicable) Xerox
iv. Non-creamy layer certificate (if applicable) Xerox
v. EWS Certificate for EWS fee category students
vi. Online payment receipt


8) If a student fails to produce above documents his/her admission will be treated as
cancelled. Student will be responsible for cancellation of his/her admission

9) A form filled up in the wrong category or not filled up completely or correctly or
not having the appropriate documents specified above is likely to be rejected.
