Entrance Test will be conducted for M.A. Psychology Part-I admission
1. The students seeking admission for M.A. Psychology Part-I at the Department of Psychology, Sir
Parashurambhau College, Pune, both from Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) and universities other
than SPPU must appear for the Entrance Test.
2. Eligibility for M.A. (Psychology): B.A. with Psychology Specialization
3. Any graduate from recognized University approved by UGC.
4. Admissions for 90% seats of the total intake capacity are offered to the students from SPPU on
the basis of
i. Online Entrance Exam marks + Undergraduate Marks in Psychology
ii. In case of students of SPPU having qualification other than B.A. (Psychology), the admission will be
considered only on the basis of marks scored in Online Entrance Exam subject to fulfillment of the
eligibility criterion.
5. 10% seats of the total intake capacity are offered to the students from the universities other than
SPPU and their admissions will be only on the basis of marks scored in Online Entrance Exam subject
to fulfillment of the eligibility criterion.
a. Eligibility criterion prescribed by SPPU in ordinance 181 for admissions to post-graduate
courses will be followed.
b. Reservation norms by Government of Maharashtra and Government of India will be followed.
c. The Online Entrance Exam will be held on 07August, 2021 at 11.00 am
d. Application for Online entrance exam Registration for M.A. Psychology Part-I for the academic
year 2021-22 will be available online www.spcollegepune.ac.in from 19
th July 2021 to Saturday, 4
th
August 2021.
e. No further correspondence will be entertained for incomplete Registration applications
Instructions to fill Online entrance exam Application form
1. Online link will be available on college website www.spcollegepune.ac.in
2. Click: Online entrance exam Application form for M.A. Psychology Part- I.
3. Click: “Apply On-line’’.
4. Register as new user.
5. Fill the Personal details along with qualifying examination details in the application form.
6. Application form and Processing fee (non-refundable and non-transferable): Rs. 500/- (to be paid online
only) + Payment gateway charges.
7. Preserve the receipt of the online Registration application fee paid for future reference.
8. Do not submit hard copy (Print out) of the application form to the department office.
9. Students applying under Result Awaited category should fill the Principal Total and upload scanned copy
of final year mark sheet within a week after declaration of their B.A. results.
Paper Pattern
The entrance test will consist of 50 objective-type questions only and duration of 01hour
